my dad can do a semi-similar trick, sort of, I have yet to wrap my head around it, but he says when you cut the deck it does nothing, because cards decks are like a circle if you cut it, you just change what’s on top not the order, then all you have to do is figure out what’s on top and you know what the rest of the decks order is (unless you have shuffled)
